The idea of an amblem forming for Hacettepe University Public Health Institute, was occurred at the years of innovation of the Institute. Faculty of fine arts ceramics department’s lecturer honorable Ass. Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Özçelik created the symbol; the most important speciality of this symbol is reflecting the universal features of public health. As a general view, this symbol express the public health world since March 2005, at the front face of the Institute building. This 20 different shape, symbolizes the multi-disciplinary and broad service range of public health field. The bulging extentions surrounding the symbol tell the understanding of development and enlargement at public health field and the increase of the numbers of current disciplines at the symbol and avocation in future.
