The Institute of Public Health has supported the “Civic Training for Mehmetçik” Project in Turkey. The Project for civic training of conscripts in military service, which includes six training modules, is funded by the European Commission and the Turkish Government. Turkish Armed Forces is the institutional beneficiary and the United Nations Development Fund provides technical assistance for efficient and effective implementation of the Project. Prof.Dr. L. Hilal Ozcebe, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Sarp Uner and Dr. Ozge Karadag Caman from the Institute of Public Health has prepared the entire “Health” Training Module and had significant contribution to the “Safe Social Life” Module.

7 April World Health Day Vector Born Diseases Pannel was carried out at 7th April 2014, 10:00-12:00 at R Saloon at Sihhiye campus.

Ankara tournament of "Bilim Kahramanları Buluşuyor / FIRST LEGO League" Science "Nature"s Fury" was organized at the ownership of Hacettepe University Culture Center at Sıhhiye Campus.

‘Ankara, From My Point of View’ Photography exhibition was organized on 6th December 2013 at Hacettepe University Culture Center R Saloon, Sıhhiye Campus.

The awarded pictures at a picture competition on ‘Child Rights’ theme, coordinated by Ministry of Family and Social Policies for 20th November World Child Rights Day were exhibited at the ownership of our institute at Sıhhiye Campus Foyer Area.

Public Health Institute and Ankara Public Health Authority carried out blood pressure measurement and exercise for health informng activity on 3-9th September 2013.

Blood pressure measurement activity was held at some malls on 3-9th September at Public Health Week.
